This page contains the privacy, media release, and content-use language supplied for PCbyBC.
Information Collected
PCbyBC may collect basic customer information when someone submits a service quote form, messages the page, schedules a service, or requests a quote.
Information collected may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- City or general location area
- Service request details
- PC issue or service needed
- Photos or videos of the customer's PC if provided
- Messages related to the service request
How Information Is Used
PCbyBC uses customer information to respond to service requests, provide quotes, schedule appointments, follow up about PC cleaning, repair, upgrade, troubleshooting, or custom PC build services, communicate through Facebook Messenger, Instagram, text, phone call, or email, keep basic service records, and improve PCbyBC services, marketing, and customer experience.
PCbyBC does not sell customer personal information.
Marketing, Social Media, and Content Ownership
By submitting a form, messaging PCbyBC, or using PCbyBC services, the customer gives PCbyBC permission to photograph, record, edit, and use content involving the customer's PC, PC parts, cleaning process, repair process, upgrade process, custom build process, completed work, and related service content for marketing, portfolio, educational, advertising, and social media purposes.
This content may be used on PCbyBC's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, website, marketplace listings, paid ads, or other PCbyBC business pages.
Any photos, videos, edits, captions, graphics, posts, ads, or other content created by PCbyBC are owned by PCbyBC. Customers do not receive ownership rights, payment, royalties, revenue share, approval rights, or control over content created by PCbyBC, even if the content includes their PC, PC parts, or service work.
If PCbyBC earns money, views, leads, sales, promotional value, or other business benefit from the content, that income or value belongs to PCbyBC.
PCbyBC will not intentionally share private personal information such as full names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, license plates, payment information, private messages, account information, serial numbers, passwords, or login information.
PCbyBC may use a customer's first name only when thanking them for being a customer or showing completed work. PCbyBC will avoid, blur, crop out, or remove customer faces, voices, and other identifying personal details when possible unless the customer gives clear written permission.
Content Removal Requests
Customers may contact PCbyBC to request removal of specific content from PCbyBC pages. PCbyBC will review removal requests, but PCbyBC is not required to remove content that does not show or reveal the customer's identity, face, voice, full name, address, license plate, phone number, email, payment information, private messages, account information, serial numbers, passwords, or other private personal information.
Content created by PCbyBC, including photos, videos, edits, captions, graphics, posts, and ads, remains the property of PCbyBC.
If content includes or clearly identifies a customer's face, name, voice, image, likeness, or other identifying information, PCbyBC may remove, blur, crop, mute, edit, or replace the content when reasonably possible.
PCbyBC cannot guarantee removal of content that has already been shared, reposted, saved, downloaded, screenshotted, or distributed by others.
Minors
PCbyBC services and lead forms are intended for customers who are 18 years or older. If a customer is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must approve the service request, payment, and any use of photos, videos, or related content.
Removal Requests and Contact
Customers may contact PCbyBC through the Facebook page or Instagram page to request updates, ask questions, request data deletion, or request removal of specific posted content. PCbyBC will review requests and respond when reasonably possible.
